Well, today I got some good news and bad news.

The good news is that I got my income tax refund back in my account this morning. Almost $800, with the state return still to come, plunked straight into the savings account - I don't have any plans to spend it yet, so it should be earning interest for me.

The bad news is that I was told by my boss that I am too good a worker to be allowed to take a vacation. So I'm not going to be taking my vacation this year, just like I was not able to take it last year. Oh well, it's a compliment, I suppose.

that you can't be denied from takign your vacation time like that. you have to be allowed to take your vacation time. note, this is just what Ash says
