The Phillies have fired Ed Wade
Though the move has been too long delayed
Now Phils fans rejoice
For the team heard our voice
That he wasn't worth what he was paid.

Charlie Fife is the next one to go
As we all think his talent is low
He pulled pitchers too fast
Leaving Phils fans aghast
And we saw how much he doesn't know.
